Catholic Church Scene

This is a Catholic Church Scene that i modeled using a reference image. The church was one of my earlier models back from 2015 but i recently completed texturing it.

How was it made?

The Scene was created using Maya 2016, Photoshop and Substance painter 2.

The technique i used on this model was different to all of my other models; When i started planning out how i was going to do certain things, i had a reference image at the side of my screen. Using the reference image was easier than i thought but i still prefer box modelling.

The creation of the 3D Model took around 6 hours (with breaks) and the Unwrapping took another 3 hours. This model has only one UV Map because the Church doesn't have a lot of large areas that need good texture quality.

Texturing

When the Scene was completely unwrapped and i was happy, i moved on to substance painter 2 to start texturing my model. The texture size on the model is 4k and this is because you get an HD perspective of what it looks like. Plus it looks really realistic. The textures on the Church Scene are made up of several different maps, and they are the Normal Map, Ambient Occlusion, Roughness and Metallic.
